Does anyone else read this magazine? I do now and then, though it has been awhile and probably would even forget about it as now days I pull most of my recipes from the net (MommySavers included!). But my husband LOVES this magazine. He's on their website right at this moment.

Taste of Home is Great!! However I really like their Simple & Delicious (used to be Quick Cooking).

I used to use it all the time too, until I came on here. I actually just started my subscription again through a friend ~ we'll see how much I use it.

I flip thru it time to time at the doctor's office, but find most of the recipes to be uninspring... perhaps it's just me thou. I look up recipes online or check out books from the library when I need fresh ideas, but we don't really eat any "american" food, mostly ethic stuff and that's just not normally covered int he magazine.

However, when I'm looking for "classic" american food, I can find some good looking pictures! I love pictures when I try new recipes, I want to know what it will look like.

I find their food mostly too heavy for me. MY MIL got me a subscription last year and I have never used one recipe from it. I want to check out their light mag though. A good related recipe site, that you don't have to have a subscription for, is allrecipes.com. Their recipes have user opinion and alterations which I find really helpful.

I love Taste of Home. I have never purchased a magazine, I am too cheap. My mother gave some that she picked up at her work. I also have a couple Quick Cooking, and Cooking Light. I stole a Taste of Home Cookbook from my brother, and I use it a lot. I also just got a 2002 Quick Cooking cookbook from the library for 2 dollars.

I LOVE taste and home. I just started up my subscription a few months ago. I have tried so many recipes from that magazine.
