Heath Bar Candy

1/2 lb Butter
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Nuts, finely chopped
1/3 cup Chocolate chips

Combine first 3 ingredients and boil, stirring constantly until it
thickens and looks like a brown paper bag. Pour on greased cookie
sheet. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Let melt and spread
smooth over the mixture.

Let cool and harden. Break into pieces.

Soda Cracker Candy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I made this for x-mas and everyone loved it. It tastes like toffee and it couldn't be any easier.

1C butter (the real thing-I tried it w/ margarine and it didn't set up)
1C brown sugar
1 sleeve soda crakers
1 pkg choc chips
Nuts (opitional)

Preheat your oven to 350.Melt your butter in a small sauce pan add your brown sugar. Boil for 3 minutes. while it is boiling line a cookie sheet with foil. Spray w/ non-stick spray, arrange crackers in rows I ended up with 8 rows of 5. When butter is done boiling pour over crackers. Spread it out so it covers all of the crackers. bake for 5 minutes. Take pan out of oven, turn off oven. Pour chocolate chips over crackers, put pack into oven until choc is melted. spread chocolate over all of the crackers. You can top the chocolate with chopped nuts at this point. I then put the pan into my freezer to harden the chocolate and toffee. Once it's hardened I break it apart and store in a covered container.
