I got a sandwich maker thru a trade on this website a few months ago. I have had fun using it and the kids like everything so far. Just in case any one else has one, here is what we have made. Please share if you have any recipes or tips too!

Pigs in a Blanket

pancake batter
heat and serve link sausages, heated
syrup
powdered sugar (optional)
margarine
Place a small amount of margarine in each of the sandwich maker wells. Preheat about 5 minutes. Fill the wells halfway with pancake batter, then place a sausage link on top of batter. Put a little more batter on top. Serve hot with powdered sugar and syrup.

Corn dogs

cornbread batter
hot dogs, cut in half
cooking spray

Spray cooking spray in each sandwich maker wells. Preheat about 5 minutes. Fill the wells halfway with cornbread batter, then place a hot dog on top of batter. Put a little more batter on top. Serve hot with ketchup, mustard, and relish.

Breakfast sandwich

bread
butter
eggs-I do three
cheese
crumbled up bacon, ham, or sausage

Preheat maker. Butter each piece of bread. Scramble eggs add meat and sprinkle on top with cheese. Place buttered side of bread down, evenly place eggs over bread. Place second piece of bread (butter sided up) on top of eggs. Cook until golden brown.

That's a good idea about making corn dogs w/the sandwich maker! I have one and we rarely use it. I love a monte crisco, but I will have to find a recipe for it.

I like to make hot ham and cheeses, and pizza pockets.
For the pizza pockets, just put a piece of buttered bread down, swipe some pizza sauce, throw on some pepperonis and shredded mozzarella and cover with another piece of buttered bread and bam....instant pizza pocket,,,,,yumm
