In stead of having our beef stew over mashed potatoes I decided to clean out the fridge and pantry to make a CP of it.It might sounds weird but I tasted it and it tastes really good!

Here is what is in it-
beef stew meat,
dried minced onion,
3/4 bag of baby carrots from the fridge,
2 can of potatoes diced up,
can of mixed veggies,
salt,pepper and garlic pepper,
couple hands full of frozen green beans from the freezer,
packet of brown gravy mix,
packet of white gravy mix,
a small baggy of Au Juice I have LO in the freezer,
small palm full of barley,
and thickened it up with some tapioca.

My house smells so good right now and best of all I got to use up some things up in the pantry!

That sounds yucky but it is amazing what the CP can crank out. It is cool to create something when you don't have a clue what you're making for dinner. I usually get rave reviews from my husband when I do that. Maybe I'll try your 'recipe'.

I thought it would turn out great. Your an expert cook, and I am sure you know what things might be able to be put together.

Well you are always giving us such awesome recipes. And you seem to cook the most awesome meals.
Here is what I threw together on Friday. The kids said, ew not soup. But they ate it all and I had to make another batch before dh came home so he could eat.

Browned some hamburger with 1 onion and some garlic. Drained and added about 8 cups of water and 8 tsp beef base(could use bullion instead) a can of diced tomatoes(or tomato sauce) a bay leaf(optional) some pepper and parsly flakes. Bring to a boil and add about 3/4 cups, maybe even a cup of orzo. Simmer until the orzo is cooked.
Could use rice or other tiny noodles, like stars instead of orzo.
I made some agian tonight and added some red pepper flakes because dh likes spicy soup.
