I am sure lots of you know this little tip, but just in case. I keep my baked cookies soft longer by putting in a plain piece of bread inside the container/ziploc bag. The bread will turn hard and dry in a few days, but the cookies will stay soft.

I have tried that, but you can also add a small packet of pudding mix (I usually use French Vanilla) to your batter. You don't delete anything out and it doesn't change the taste. For all chocolate cookies, you can use chocolate pudding. You just add the dry mix and bake like always. They will stay soft to the very last cookie!!
