I'm trying to use up Sunday's Thanksgiving leftovers and I was wondering if I can use leftover stuffing to make meatloaf? Any thoughts?

Absolutely! You probably just need to use a little less liquid, because the stuffing will be moister than bread, or crumbs. Sounds yummy.

I think it's worth a try
I wouldn't use the egg because the stuffing already has a binder in it.
yum!

I think it would be fine. I also saw an episode of Everyday Italian using turkey day leftovers and she made a meat loaf, put half of it in the pan, then a layer of leftover stuffing, then the rest of the meat loaf, so you had a stuffed meat loaf. I think it would be better just mixed into the meat loaf, but that's just me!

Also, what would you put on it? My mom's has tomato sauce, another recipe has ketchup, but do I need anything else really? I think it would be ok on its own so I'll see what happens.lol

I would do either-

Ketchup,Bbq Sauce or gravy if you are doing the layer of stuffing.

Good Luck!

I use a recipe from Kraft that just has StoveTop stuffing, water and meat. So with "real" stuffing you wouldn't need the water. Just mix it with the meat, make an indent and squirt ketchup or tomato sauce on the top. I use the sage stuffing and it's delicious.
