I made an entire turkey dinner yesterday, and it turned out great! I was really scared, because something usually goes wrong. For my gravy, I used potato water to thicken it, along with flour. It turned out great! Also, the mashed potatoes weren't lumpy or gluey! I think the key to that was making sure they were totally drained (put back on the burner for a minute to get the water off) and not to overbeat. I was so proud!

Yay, I too was proud of my dinner yesterday although I admit I asked for help from my grandmother when it came to making the gravy!

Good for you! I made a turkey dinner for 30 on Christmas Eve! I thought it was a big hit, too. Doesn't it feel good to provide a yummy meal for your loved ones?
