We were given 8 of the about 2 inch thick pork chops. I need some cooking ideas. We are not really big on pork at all, so I need some good seasoning ideas!!

I just butterfly them and cook them. They go twice as far so instead of 8, you would have 16! I think stuffing them is too complicated in my busy life and they taste just as good. I marinate them in some teriyaki sauce, put them in a skillet sprayed with olive oil and they are yummy!

slice them almost in half, put in some stove top stuffing (mixed w/required ingredients) and top w/cream of mushroom soup mixed w/some milk to form a gravy.
then bake. yummy.

Butterflying is just cutting them lengthwise in half so it makes two porkchops out of the one.

I only do mine stuffed with stove top stuffing. Cut in half stuff with the stuffing (mix according to the box), cover really good and bake @ 350 until the pork chops are done. Mmm! So moist and good. I have never done it the way that ang7474. I think it sounds ok, but i like the taste of the stuffing too much. Man, I have not made stuffed port chops forever!! might have to get some.

This is great advice....my ony thing to mention is to butterfly is NOT to COMPLETELY cut in half...just in 1/2 enough so that it lays open.
