I am banging my head on the table here! I unplugged the crock pot to use the microwave about 30 min ago and never plugged it back in. Now I know that the chicken will not be done by the time I have to leave for class.
If I have a crock pot brand removeable dish, can it go in the oven? It is ceremic type material! thanks so much!! I am thinking of putting it in for 2 hours on like 275, wdyt?

I have done that before. Actually, I had it turn on low but didnt look to see if it was plugged in. All I did was turn it on high for about the length of time that I didnt have it on, than turn it back to low. How many hours do you have until you go to class??? Are you eating the chcken before class or were you wanting to come home for class and have dinner all done and cooked??

You can put the ceramic crock in the oven. Since the bottom may not be completely flat, you may want to set it on a cookie sheet first. Make sure you don't put the lid in the oven if it is plastic - partially plastic. You may have to cover the crock pot with foil instead of using the lid.
