I seem to always add this ingredient: onions and garlic

Kitchen Gadget/Utensil/Appliance I couldn’t live without: measure all cups and my mixer

I enjoy being in the kitchen because: its fun to make new things

What I try to teach my kids about cooking: its fun and healthy food can taste good.

Funniest cooking story: my dh wanted rice a roni so i made it in the microwave it called for 2 3/4 c of water with the seasoning i forgot the water and baked it in the microwave for 18 minutes it was a solid rock had mass of rice...i even had to throw away the baking dish because even after soaking for 3 days it would not come out....

My family LOVES it when I cook this: kabob basket or taco salad

Family Favorite Recipe: taco salad

MS Dish of the week is a fun way for us to get to know the Mommysavers members. Newbies to the board as well as regulars are welcome to participate. The Dish of the week is randomly selected a week in advance of her being featured. This is done so you can be contacted, informed of your feature date, and arrange to send a picture along with the included survey. Having a picture included is so we can make it a little more personal and put a name to a face. This is optional of course, as are all the questions being asked. If the survey is not received back from you before your “feature” date, the next member will be randomly selected and we will come back to you the following week. If you would like to participate please PM Kellynkay or Ryans_mom10 and we will get you signed up.
