I am so excited! Ok it doesn't take much! But I just read a few articles that talked about making things in rice cookers other than rice. I think that is such a good idea! Sort of like a quicker crock-pot! I am going to get some rice together and make Indian Spiced rice and have it ready when I get ds home for lunch. But I'm also wondering if anyone has used them for things like soups and such??!! That would be so nice to have a hot soup waiting for us after school for lunch. Crock pots are great but too slow for lunch. I'm looking to toss something together before I pick ds up from school and have it an hour later when I pick him up. How fun!!
