DH and the kids will be out of town this weekend so the ladies that I work with are coming over for a slumber party after we get off work on friday. What should I make to eat? We will all be getting off LATE after working from 5pm - 2am.
I am thinking about making some brunch for when we wake up, I just can't decide what.

Mexican food. Every woman loves it that I know of. To have out in bowl to snack on like on a coffee table I like M&M's with peanuts or plain and nuts, doritos, summer sausage and cheese with crackers. Myabe soups on the crockpot.

You mentioned Brunch and I seen some french toast type of things posted that you could make the day before and let sit in the fridge and then bake it. I have never made one of those before. You can make fried apples a couples days ahead of time and heat them up right before serving them in the microwave. Mimosas (sp?) are great~Champange with some orange juice Mmm!

Oh fun! How many people?

So you'll be getting home at 2AM...do you think folks will be hungry then or do you just want to do snacky things? Maybe have sandwich items ready? Quesadillas would be easy too.

In the morning, you can do all kinds of things from the usual suspects of eggs/bacon, pancakes, french toast...bagels/cream cheese, danish/donuts, yogurt/fruit etc

There will be about 10 of us, maybe more.
I think that we will all be pretty hungry since we don't have a chance to eat at work. I definately need things that i can cook ahead of time and will still taste GREAT reheated.
This is the first time that we have gotten together outside of work so i want to make some really tastey things!!!

What about a baked pasta dish? Baked ziti is always a hit when we have parties, I host book club etc You can get it ready to go and just throw it in the oven to bake when you get home.

I'd probably have a cheese tray with crackers, fruit...stuff to nibble on while waiting for 'dinner'.

A fresh salad with oil and vinegar. That's easy and quick.

Garlic bread

You could marinate some chicken and saute it while the pasta is cooking...

Pizza? You could make your own, buy frozen...whatever works!
