Muffins, granola, cookies.. anything good ones? Any other recipes? It's cheap (50 cents for a big container of it with a coupon this week) and healthy for you.

Im my country, (Argentina) they make:

*QUAKER SOUP
it's basically a light soup, with a tasty broth, diced veggies, gratted carrots, boullion cubes, etc, what ever you want. and INSTEAD OF RICE OR PASTA, THEY PUT QUAKER OATS.
It is soooo yummy, (of course the regular kind) lol
the starch makes the soup a little thicker, not so liquidy, and the quaker takes place of the rice or pasta.
TRY IT, YOU'LL LOVE IT!

lots of recipes use oatmeal instead of bread crumbs in meatballs and meatloaves...you can use them in crisps(like apple crisp..etc)or on muffin topping.

No Bake Cookies
(in dh's house, they are known as Candy Cookies)

Bring the following to a rapid boil and continue boiling for 2 minutes:
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
2 T cocoa
1/2 cup butter (I use margarine)

Remove from heat and stir in the following:
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter (I use crunchy)
1 t vanilla
dash salt (I rarely add it)

Drop quickly onto cookie sheet or waxed paper.

I usually double or triple the recipe as they are super yummy and go fast in my house. Get out the milk!

They are very yummo and addicting. I am now at the point where I just pour them into a pan and let them harden...and if for some reason they are still a bit soupy, just break out the spoons.

I have a recipe that calls for ground up oatmeal (just stick it in the blender!) instead of some of the flour. We call them Jake Cookies (after my husband's college roommate) but I think they are a version of the Neiman Marcus cookies. I'll see if I can find the recipe.

These cookies are really good. I put the oatmeal in the blender so the kids and dh don't object to the texture but still get the oatmeal I also use all regular flour and always double this recipe. If you are really going overboard, drizzle the cookies with melted chocolate! This recipe is from allrecipes.

Peanut Butter Cookies IX

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup semisweet chocolate
chips

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, white sugar and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, wheat flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the peanut butter mixture. Finally, mix in the oats and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3. Bake for 8 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks
