Pure syrup for us all the way. I'd rather spend a little more for quality, than eat the artificial stuff (though I spose my kids wouldn't know the difference).

I use the Cary's brand that is No Sugar Added. It's like 35 calories a serving. I don't think I've ever tasted real maple syrup.

I also don't think I have ever had the REAL maple syrup. DH likes me to buy Mrs. Butterworth's syrup, but often I skimp and buy generic. I would like to try the real stuff some time!

You should try it! Mrs. Butterworth is horrible. Read the label.

Pure all the way! There are a few farms out in the suburbs here that sell it homemade so we try to buy that when we're in the area, but otherwise DH likes it from Sugarbush Farm in VT (they have other things as well - really good cheddar and jam) - Vermont Cheddar-Extra Sharp Cheddar-Cheese-Vermont Pure Maple Syrup-Gourmet Gift Baskets-Holiday
