OK...so I am planning on having a roast in the crock pot this week. When I went to pulled meat out of the freezer, no "Roasts". I do however have a ton of London broils. We usually cook these on the grill. But do you think that I could cook on in the crock pot, like a roast twith potatoes and carrots???

I am so dumb with meat types....help!!!

Well, I checked allrecipes.com and from what I'm seeing, you can. London Broil is just a name because of the way most people cook it, but it's actually a top round, and it says the thicker cuts can be "oven roasted". Usually when I do a roast in the crockpot, I will brown both sides first. You might try that, then put it in the crockpot.

Hope this helps.

I do this too in a little butter and a little rock salt, pepper and garlic powder rubbed on both sides, and it always turns out great and the longer you cook it the better. I would try it what's the harm. Good luck!!

I think you can pratically cook anything you like in a crock pot. Just google some recipes.
