you mean like a tip? I keep a plastic bag on the counter to put veggie ends, wrappers, peels, etc in as I go and then dump it in the trash. Get out all iingredients from the fridge or cupboard before you start.

Freeze ingredients in 1/4 cup or 1 cup portions. That way you can pull out the correct amounts easily when making your dishes.

If you buy ground beef in bulk, cook a bunch of it up at once and freeze in smaller portions. I used to fry it up and then drain it, now I just boil it up and drain it - it's less messy and simpler to do and I don't taste any difference.
