$400 for family of 5. I think we can do it this time. I kind of fell off my meal plans last month. And I stockpiled a little because we got our refund back.

$250 for me...
I've spent $10.40 at Harmon's, stocking up on baby food that was on sale. Technically it was in Feb, but I'm moving it to march, since it was FOR march and I wanted to stay under budget in Feb.

I've never budgeted, but it seems like a lot of people are saying $400. So I will try for $450.

Fair question. I only have to feed my dh and myself. We live in a town about 30 minutes outside of Austin.

I make almost everything from scratch. We buy very few processed food. We eat meat-free meals at least 3 times a week.

If I had to include dog food in the "grocery" budget it would probably be closer to $130 ($50 for dog food every month). I have 4 greyhounds and a foster greyhound. Sometimes I think I actually spend more for their food than I do for ours!

It's my goal to lower our grocery bill. I'm hoping to spend 450$ on groceries this month. This would be great for us to do this on a regular basis.
