My monthly budget is $400, but I have been striving to get it to $375 or below. I think in March I may bring it up to $400 just to stock pile a bit. I know I'm going to get some meat to stockpile (been seeing the prices of chicken breasts going up).

I'm going to look at all the sales and continue to maximize my sales!!

$400 for 5 of us. This will be the least I have ever spent in one month on groceries, so it's a bit of a challenge. I usually buy organic beef, sometimes chicken (I buy Purdue brand too), pork , eggs, milk & as much produce as possible. Any money saving tips anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Mine will have to be around $300. This month money will be tight, unless we get our refund back soon. I will be using up my stock pile. Hopefully I can clean out the fridge/freezer and pantry really well and than stock them back up with our refund.

Grocery store: 30.77
om bolonga on sale: 1.55
Hamburger buns: 2.99-Only had Sara Lee, all out of cheap store brand
loaf of bread: 2.29
apples: 3.90 (3.28 lbs)
pears: 2.09 (2.11 lbs)
bananas: 1.28 (2.32 lbs)
cheese slices: 2.63
hamburger: 12.30 (almost seven lbs)

Pamida-work there so I get a small discount on food. $14.27

3-Betty Crocker muffin pouches-use these to make kids pancakes $3.12
10 boxes of Kraft mac and cheese-4.75
2 boxes BC complete meals-6.40

Total $45.04
budget $300.00
balance $ 254.96

Rethinking budget-I forgot all about Easter dinner. We are having it at our house and I know right off the bat I will need to get some things just for that. Thank goodness, I still have the gift certificate from dh's xmas gift from work; Free butterball up to $20. Just hope that they go on sale so I can get a really big one for the dinner and leftovers.
