In our house we always eat dessert, it is a must have, maybe bad habit but it is not always bad food sometimes we have fruit salad or jello, but we have NEVER eaten it right after dinner, we always eat our dessert at like 7:30-8 when we sit down to watch some TV.

I dunno I guess I am not ready to dig in after eating a meal, I like dessert for a snack

How about you ladies?

We don't eat dessert very often, but if we do, it is never right after supper, it is always an hour or two later.

We usually only have dessert for special occasions. When we do have dessert it is an hour or two later.

In the summer, my children have ice cream for dessert a few times a week. They usually have it around the same time.

We never have it right after dinner...if we're going to have it, we have it an hour (or more) after dinner.

We rarely have dessert but when we do its usualy about an hr after dinner.

In our home, it need not be a full fledged dessert, but I need to change the taste immediately after food - if there is nothing I will take a couple of sips of lemonade. I need the sweet taste in my mouth.

Sometimes we have it right after dinner if it is something we really want and save room for it

Most of the time it is always for a snack an hour or so after dinner or when we have room for it

My kids love dessert or snack and I love to make them for them.I try to do sugar free a few times a week.
