In looking thru some inserts in my paper, I noticed a food slicer for sale at a local store. I am wondering if one of those is worth getting. I thought for buying precooked hams and turkey breasts and cutting up my own lunch meat. But than how would I store it?? Right now I buy pre packaged lunchmeat when it is on sale and freeze it. I dont see why I couldnt freeze my own cut lunchmeat as well.
What are your thoughts on a food slicer?

I have one but only because it was collecting dust in my grandmas cupboard so she gave it to me! I have used to slice hams and turkeys then I froze them. The one we have is old but its electric and works fine

That's funny Amanda.....I dont have one either but have thought about it.

My hesitation comes in storing the thing mainly.....they are fairly bulky..and you are def NOT gonna use it every day.

I have it all....from a new electric turkey deep fryer down to a cotton candy maker so my storage space for kitchen gadgets its really getting limited.

A cotton candy maker! How cool is that?!?!?! I hear you on the running out of room for kitchen gadgets. I am kinda addicted to buying kitchen gadgets, but I do make sure that I use them all.
