Does anyone cook a St. Patricks day dinner. My dh always wants me to make corn beef and cabbage and every year I forget how I made it the year before . What are you making and how do you cook it?

We always have corned beef and cabbage...I just buy the package in the store, with the seasoning packet and cook it according to the directions on the package. I add peeled/cut potatoes while the meat is cooking and then towards the end, wedges of cabbage.

Oh gosh...so many things. Just make what you like!

You could do potato soup, poached salmon, lamb, pork...

I have bought it at the store, it's slightly sweet and has rasins in it.

I'll be making corned beef. DH doesn't really care for cooked cabbage so I'll be making coleslaw (it's still cabbage!)
I'll also be making shamrock shakes to go with it.

I am going to make reuben sandwiches with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut and a shamrock shaped cake with green icing.
