That depends on what you want them for....I've frozen apples that I've peeled, cored and sliced with all the spices and sugar for pie filling. I've frozen applesauce, I've also just cored apples and frozen them for baked apples.

If there's a recipe (ie. apple crisp) that you KNOW that you'll be making a lot with the apples, make up the filling part and freeze in a bag, then all you'll have to do is make the topping and bake it.

HTH!!

You can also dry these in the oven and make Christmas ornaments or garlands out of them. It is easy - if you want the instructions - just PM me.

thanks

Here's instructions for apple head dolls -- fun activity to do with kids or for Christmas We did these all the time as kids with my grandma. She used to have apple heads hanging all over her house in the fall, and would add to them every year with our new ones we made. Strangers probably would have thought she was a little off, but then again, she was. LOL Where do you think I get it from?

-make apple butter in your crockpot and can in jars for christmas gifts
-make applesauce for christmas gifts
-candy/caramel apples
-apple dumplings (yummy when warm served with vanilla ice cream!)
-cut up apples, dry in dehydrator or oven, and make own granola or cinnamon apple oatmeal mix -- yummy in the winter or in jars for christmas gifts
-i'm sure there are others but that's what i thought of offhand that wasn't mentioned already.
