I love George... my george forman grill that is...

I have started cooking my bacon in it.. It's awsome.. no more splatters, it doesn't curl up and you can have it anyway you want it.. My dh said it was tender and cooked.. I don't like crunchy bacon!

So what do you love cooking on your george?

I have done bacon and yes it is good! I have grilled pork chops, burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, steak, chicken. I do use it often espically in the winter I have the removable trays which I love! SO much easier to clean.

Wow, that's brilliant! I love to make panini on mine. Quick, easy and no-mess quesadillas and grilled cheese sandwiches.

We have used ours for grilled cheese, grilled ham & cheese, tuna melt, hamburgers, chicken, brats, steak, hot dogs, almost every meat but bacon. I have to try the bacon on it, but putting the bacon in the oven is great too. Can do more at a time in the oven.

Thanks for the heads up

My inlaws had one of those grills & dumped it on us. Apparently my MIL liked it, but FIL and SIL both thought the food tasted weird on it. We kept it for about 2 years. My DH liked it but I thought the food tasted weird on it as well. The only thing I liked on it was bacon. So we "gifted it" to a friend who had been wanting one and was quite excited to get it. I wonder if her food tastes good or weird on it...

I used to have one, but gave it to my sister when she went to college. I used it one time in about 3 years. I'm not really a gadget-y person, though. I never thought of cooking bacon on it, I bet that does really work!
