Is there such a thing as banana cake mix? If so, do you know who makes it? Or could I just mash up a banana or add a little banana flavoring to a vanilla or yellow cake mix?

I saw a yummy recipe for banana split cupcakes and think they'd be fun to make, but I want to use a cake mix versus mixing blah, blah, blah. So any suggestions??

Looks like Duncan hines once had one called Banana Supreme. Its not listed in the products section but is in the recipes so I dunno about that one. Still looking though

Is it just for the cake part? if so... you could try this • 1 pkg Duncan Hines® Moist Deluxe® Classic Yellow Cake Mix
• 1 1/3 cups water
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 3 large eggs
• 1/3 cup mashed mashed very ripe banana
This is part of a cupcake recipe but I dont see why it wouldnt work
I forgot the baking instructions lol
Baking Instructions:

1 Preheat oven to 350° F. Line muffin pans with paper baking cups. Blend cake mix, water, oil, eggs and banana in large bowl at low speed until moistened [about 30 seconds]. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full.

2 Bake 18 to 21 minutes. Cool completely

I am not sure What you are exactly trying to make.
