I bought some powdered milk the other day for my food storage and to use in cooking. I figured out that it cost about the same as the equivalent of fresh milk. Of course milk hasn't gone up too much where I live yet.

Is powdered milk cheaper where you live?

I buy it in the bulk supplies and have learned that I cannot afford it in organic. And I'm not sure, considering the hassle, that it is worth buying it the other way either. But I sure would like to hear others opinions on the matter.

It's about the same as fresh here in Oklahoma, but I use it to make alot of homemade mixes (cream soups, gravies, etc.) so the money I save on the other things makes it worth while.
