Dh and I just bought a REALLY nice new grill. We had been pricing them for 2 years and decided to bite the bullet and get one. Now I plan to do most of my summer cooking on it.

What do you cook on your grill?

We grill almost everything in the summer....meats...veggies grilled are awesome...grilled peaches are a great dessert....smores...between grilling at home and taking it with us camping....I think we've done it all

You are gonna LOVE it.....what kind did you get???Gas I'm assuming?!Be sure to grab yourself some wood chips...you'll wanna master the art of smoking

We have grilled anything and everything on our grill.
Vegs and meat mostly. I am going to tackle grilling fruit this year, I have it at other people houses and it's so good.
If you ask my DH this question he would say any type of chicken, my DD would say anything to do with vegs and my DS would say any kind of food.
I like vegetable packets and pork loin, kabobs.

kabobs are hard when you have so many kids....I hate having to pull them apart just to cut them up. We grill lots of chicken, burgers. Foil packets are great for veggies. We haven't gotten a gril basket for veggies yet, but maybe this year. We've done roasts on it and they're good, too. MIght depend on what your DH can eat, too since his new diet is kind of restrictive.

We have a gas grill, that dh hook the gas line up to the main propane tank for the heat. So we usually use ours all year long. It is under the gazbo so it doesn't get rain on.

Ours has a side burner so we can use it too. Our electricy went off a couple of weeks ago, and we cooked eggs on the burner and sausage and bacon on the main grate and even had toast! I heated some water, thank goodness we had coffee singles!

It was great,

The free Kraft Foods magazine is a great source of some really yummy grill recipes. It seems like almost every recipe in there in the Spring/Summer editions has to do with a grill (probably not, but a lot of them do!). If you don't get the magazine, sign up for it through kraftfoods.com or even just go there and start searching for some good ones. they've already changed their site to be geared for the spring/summer cooking.
