I have a cutter that makes phyllo dough star "cups". It cuts the stars, then cuts smaller stars partway through so you can pull the centers out, fill them, and put the centers back on (if you want). But I don't know what to make with them.. I have a MOPS mom's day meeting that I wanted to bring things for and was thinking of using it for that, but what do I put in it?

Also, are there savory things I could put inside it too?

Are you thinking appetizer or dessert? If you're doing appetizer, I would think something like chicken salad would be good in them. Dessert I would think you could put fresh berries of some sort with whipped topping. Just something simple.

my sister gave it to me for Christmas.. she found it at a thrift store, for sure. the box gives it away (and that's mainly where she shops, especially for me)

do you like spinach and cheese combinations???

I have some great appetizer recipe for things like that w/phyllo.

You can also use it to make like deep fried sandwiches...fill w/cooked meat and even cubed cooked potatoes n deep fry.
