I just got done putting supper in the oven, well we will see if we can call it that when it comes out.
All the recipe called for was a half of soup can of milk. Guess what I add?
A full soup can! I think it should be okay!?!?!

Such is the life of a busy mom!

Does this happen to anybody else when they cook/bake?

I would bet anything that it will be ok. I have never seen a recipe call for just 1/2 a can of soup! If it would have been me, I would have toss the whole can in so I didnt waste the other 1/2.

We've all done it. My sister did it w/ one casserole and it came out better - she kept the change! I have a recipe that calls for a full can of one soup & a half can of the other, and I just put both full cans in.

oh sure,I do it too

my big thing for some reason is ,it'll call for a can of "cream of something soup" and I'll end up using the wrong kind...thank goodness most are kind of interchangeable.

Been there done that!

But yea, i with the other person, i would have added the whole can to keep from wasting. Some of that soup is 1.25 a can

She said half a soup can OF MILK, not half a soup can of soup.

I do it constantly - comes from multitasking and not giving something my full attention!

We survived supper last night!
By adding the full soup can of milk, it just made the stuffing very, very moist, but we ate it and DH and DD went back for seconds.
