2T olive oil
3/4 t dried italian seasoning (I don't use)

#1...take steaks out of the fridge about an hour and 1/2 before grilling...they cook best at room temp!!!

#2 ONLY FLIP IT ONCE!!!!(what I look for is when the sides are starting to show signs of being done that wrap around to the top outer edges...you should only have to flip it over and grill a couple of min to finish it off...you wanna cook it about 50-75% done on the first side, depending on how you like itPlus this makes for some good grill lines!

#3 Only flip w/tongs.Never use a fork or anything that's gonna pierce the meat.

#4-Trim any excess fat...you only want a thin 1/4 in left...wanna avoid major flare ups!!

That's my top 4 steak tips...works perfect for me everytime!!!

And don't forget to let them rest before cutting so that the juices can redistribute and end up in your mouth not all over the plate or cutting board!

OMG these are so awesome I can eat them by themselves!!!But also great w/potatoes or on burgers.

1 bunch green onion
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 Tbs butter

Wrap all in a foil pack and grill about 10 min...flipping occasionally.

and a great way to grill them to go with chicken is soak about 4 bunches in 1-2 juiced limes for about 30 min then toss straight on the grill.

Honestly,soooo good!!!

ooopps....all the steak cooking tips and I forgot to arm you with the secret weapon .....the rub....

2 Tbs Spanish Paprika
2 Tbs Ancho Chili Powder
2 Tbs dry mustard
2 Tbs dry oregano
2 tsp dry cumin
2 tsp dry coriander
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 Tbs salt
1 tsp pepper

Whisk spices together.

Preheat grill to medium.

Brush the steaks on both sides lightly w/oil and season w/salt and pepper on one side and then rub the other side w/some of the rub.
Place the rub side down on the grill and cook til golden brown and a crust has formed, 4-5 minutes.(this is easy to do since you only flip a steak once right )
Turn over the steaks and cont. grilling to med-rare or desired doneness. Remove from grill/let rest for 5 min tented w/foil before slicing.
