Name: Mary

Family: Dh...Paul(married 13 1/2 years) Ds...Paul(9 years old) and Mom...she just moved in with us.

State: IL

Favorite Drink? McDonalds sweet tea

Favorite Vegetable? brussel sprouts(I know Huh??)

Favorite Dessert? I don't think I have one but how about peanut butter pie.

Favorite comfort meal? chicken, mashed potatos and gravy

If I had to eat the same thing for the rest of my life it would be: popcorn

Weirdest thing you ever ate? Nothing weird, I'm not very daring.

I didn't think I'd like, but I did!! Cinnamon toast crunch cereal (not a big fan of cinnamon)

Baking or Cooking? Baking

I seem to always add this ingredient: garlic

Kitchen Gadget/Utensil/Appliance I couldn’t live without: my ginsu steak knives...I use those for cutting and chopping everything. I wish I could find them somewhere.

I enjoy being in the kitchen because: I don't really. I like to go out to eat.

If my kitchen could talk it would say “this” about me: She doesn't like me very much. Although she likes the way I'm decorated. (retro)

I learned everything I know about cooking from: My mom. I didn't learn to cook until I got married 13 1/2 years ago.

What I try to teach my kids about cooking: At the moment read through the recipe first.

Funniest cooking story: Not funny...I get very irritated when something doesn't turn out. I made a cracker crumb stuffing for Thanksgving and it was green. I used to much sage.

My family LOVES it when I cook this: I'd probably go with the chicken, mashed potatos and gravy although my dh could eat steak everyday and ds chicken nuggets.

Family Favorite Recipe: Rouladen

It was nice getting to know you and I like brussel sprouts also, not my favorite, but I do like them so you're not alone.
