I think my budget will be $350 also. We will see how this goes as this is the first time I have set a budget for my spending.

This is my first time trying this ~ I'm excited to see how close I can come to my budget!

I was going to say $350, but I just looked at my expenditures for April and it was about $600 ..... And, I thought I did well this month...

So, to be realistic, for a family of 6, I'm going to say $500. I want to get the grocery spending down. Trying to stay away from Costco, except for the cheaper basics, may help.

After this first challenge, I'll be able to see where I lie...

Balance: $250.94 (50%)

For April I was in for $375 and that included diapers, wipes, cleaning supplies, etc. I came in $20 under... so this month I am going to aim for $350. That would be great for us.

Alright, my husband's been offering me an extra $25 since I make a bit of money each month, I guess I'll take it
