I love sour cream & I've done that too. Another use is a "quick ambrosia". Mix a can of pineapple chunks (drained), a can of mandarin oranges (drained), some coconut and some chopped walnuts and pecans into some sour cream. I have exact measures at home but it's one of those things you can put in more or less to taste. The sweetness of the fruit and the sour cream flavor -omigod - it's great.

1 can creamed style corn
1 can regular corn
1 pk jiffy cornbread mix
1 cup sour cream

mix together and cook at 350 till done top with cheese and melt cheese.

I also use sour cream in my mashed potatoes

I also take a box of yellow cake mix and instead of oil use the same amount of sour cream.

We do this too, but I layer it with shredded lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes and eat it with Tostitos. It doesn't last very long in our house. Actually sour cream doesn't last long at all. My kids also eat sour cream with their Doritos.

Potato Skin Dip

2 (16oz)lite cream
1 (3oz)bcon bits
2 c shredded ceddar cheese
1 bunch green onions, thin sliced
1/2 tsp pepper

Mix and refirgerate overnight.
Great dip for rippled potato chips and also good on baked potatoes or even to mix in mashed ones.(a good multi purpose concoction)

I LOVE SOUR CREAM!!! It's really good to mix brown sugar with sour cream for a quick fruit dip - it's best on strawberries That's my favorite way to eat strawberries!
