Ladies, I was hoping to do Mother's Day inexpensively and I wanted to do some sort of item I can put in a jar and then the special Mom can just add an egg or oil and then bake. I was thinking of doing choc chip cookies in a pretty mason jar and tie it with a pretty bow. Does anyone else have any ideas? I have about 6 mom's I would like to appreciate.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

There are a few good ideas here:

I liked the cup/mug gifts and the jars, I also got some great gourmet popcorn recipes from this site too.

I like the cookie mix in a jar. Its cheap and easy! Also they can make it when they want and not have to worry about consuming it right away!

I have also seen people do brownie mix, chili or other soup ingredients in jars.
Maybe the wrong time of year, but even hot cocoa in a jar.

I did some Mason jar gifts this year too, but instead of food items, I filled the jar 3/4 way with clean, new dirt, added flower seeds, a decorative mini stake (JoAnns or the Target dollar spot have them) and then tied it with a pretty ribbon and attached an additional packet of flower seeds for the "tag". I received one of these last year and the flowers bloomed in the jar and it was so cute!
