I saw this on another site and though I haven't tried it yet thought I would share.

Get 2 boxes from each 1 box. How? Only use 1/2 of the mix and 1/2 of the ingredients it requires and add 1 tsp. of baking powder to it. Prepare and bake as the box states and still get a whole cake that tastes the same, saving the other half of the mix in the fridge for my next use. This saves money big time as I already bought it on sale and allows me to enjoy a luxury at the same time. Try it.

I haven't tried this either but I too have heard that it works.

I'm gonna have to give this a try I have a cake to bake in a couple of weeks, will give it a try then!
