Question How do you store your homemade bread & muffins?

My muffins seem to get too moist without ventilation. They are sticky. Same thing for when I make homemade breads. Does anyone have a special trick or container they use? I have a bread box but it isn't that great for storing these things. Right now, I'm using rubbermaid containers. Thanks!

I keep my homemade bread in a giant size ziploc bag that I reuse. I store it in the fridge, after I've pushed all the air out. For muffins, I put a few in a rubbermaid storage box in the fridge and then freeze the rest. We just quickly defrost the muffins in the microwave when we want one. I don't really have a problem with moisture with either of these methods.

I reuse empty cereal bags for storing my homemade bread and rolls, etc. These bags are really thick too, and I've had good luck using them to freeze things in as well - including rolls and bread. I just use a clothes pin to keep the bag closed (if leaving out) or I double-bag (with a ziplock) first before putting things in the freezer. Seems to work well to reduce freezer burn.

Ziploc bags -- but I don't feel that is the perfect route to go either.
