I have two boxes of Cream of Wheat (Malt o meal-plain and maple & brown sugar). I bought it thinking that the kids would like it and well, they dont. I like it, but would only eat it about once a month. I was wondering if there was anything else it could be used for in baking or cooking. I did try the recipe off the box for magic muffins and those were pretty gross. TIA for any ideas.

I made brownie with the chocolate favored one awhile back. Recipe was on the back of the box. The favor was GREAT but the grit -- if that is the right word for it. I don't know, I wouldn't make them again.

Have you tried adding cheese to it? I have to cook the plain cream of wheat in milk, and then stir in butter and cheese. It's the only way my dh wants to eat it.

I know to make hot cereal out of it to eat. My kids didnt like it and I really only like cream of wheat or oatmeal during the winter when it is cold. I was wondering if there was any other meals that can be made using it. I have an open box of the plain that is probably only missing one cup out of it. I hate for it to sit in the cupboards for months unused.
