I absolutely can't stand meatloaf, I don't know why, but I do like Porcupine Meatballs, so I just make those when DH starts whining for meatloaf. (I know, I know, they're almost the exact same thing. It's something in my head, I guess)

My simple & quick version is:
ground beef
1 small can of pet evaporated milk
1 packet of lipton onion soup mix.
It's remarkably good for how easy it is.
When I have all the ingredients in the house:
ground beef
chopped onion
an egg
some bread crumbs
chopped garlic
lipton onion soup mix
ketchup
top it w/ a little more ketchup or A1 before baking.

I use a can of sloppy joe sauce. I then add italian bread crumbs until it's the texture I want. Bake in muffin tins at 350 for about 1/2 hour or until it's done in the middle. I will somtimes top w/ mozzerella cheese.

That sauce sounds so yummy. I think I may have to try it too.
I never thought about mushrooms. We all like mushrooms here.

Let me know if you try it how you liked it.It is one of those gravies that you can eat the rest of while cleaning off the table with a spoon and nothing else

I don't meassure, and my recipe varies, but I usually use about 1lb ground beef, an egg, dried onions, garlic powder, dried parsley, black pepper, splash of milk, a handful of quick cooking oats, sometimes italian breadcrumbs and shredded parm cheese. cook about 1 hour then in the last 15 minutes put mixture of equal parts ketchup & brown sugar (sometimes add splash of liquid smoke) and continue to bake. I usually use a loaf pan, but last time i used an 8x8 and the bottom came out a bit crunchy & we liked it. I always make mashed potatoes and green beans with meatloaf! this is our favorite meal! and I love making sandwiches w the l/o! cheddar cheese, tomato & lettuce!!! yummmmmm!

mine is ground beaf, tomato sauce, eggs, s&p, and oatmeal. I think the oatmeal is why I like it so much. Sometimes I put pepper jack cheese in there too. That really makes it. I top it with a mix of ketchup and mustard or more cheese, it just depends on how i feel
