I was given a bread machine, but have no idea where to begin! Does anyone have any recipes or website suggestions? The bread pan holds 11 cups of water, so I'm thinking it'll yield 1 - 1 1/2 pound loves. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are TONS of sites online...I don't know that I really could recommend one over another at this point. I've kinda gotten away from using my bread machine. It's one of those things, like often happens with cooking, is that one person thinks a recipe is fantastic and another thinks it's pretty bad. LOL!

Something I do...is look for books on Amazon and read the reviews. If a book seems like it might have some good info - I get it from my library and try a few recipes from it.

Try allrecipes.com for some recipes. Most of the recipes have reviews by folks that have tried the recipe - often with good tips, changes in the recipe etc

Bread Machine Recipes - Bread - All Recipes

Otherwise, the first thing I'd probably do...is get a copy of the manual for your bread machine. It will have the directions, some recipes etc You probably can get it for free or for a small fee from the manufacturer.

Happy Bread Making!

You can't go wrong with anything from Taste of Home or Quick Cooking. Their website may have some recipes.

This is the website I went to when I first got my bread machine: BreadMachineDigest.com

It has helped me so much!
