Good old rice krispies treats. I also like any no bake cookies-found some new recipes that I am going to try out in the next few weeks.

my mom makes a bananna pudding with nilla wafers and whipped cream...

another summertime favorite is the ice cream bars, carmel ice cream topping and whipped cream

but don't forget about fresh fruit... strawberries, blueberries and red raspberries with a little cream...

Does slipping into the fridge when the kids aren't looking to grab a big bite of refrigerate cookie dough count.

Dh and I just made this on Saturday night - a triple batch - and they were gone yesterday.

No Bake Cookies
(in dh's house, they are known as Candy Cookies)

Bring the following to a rapid boil and continue boiling for 2 minutes:
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
2 T cocoa
1/2 cup butter (I use margarine)

Remove from heat and stir in the following:
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter (I use crunchy)
1 t vanilla
dash salt (I rarely add it)

Drop quickly onto cookie sheet or waxed paper. You can also just put them in a cake pan.

I usually double or triple the recipe as they are super yummy and go fast in my house. Get out the milk!

Probably a good jello mold. I have one w/ orange jello, pineapple tidbits, marshmallows, mandarin oranges & cool whip that I always like.
