We are really going to have to tighten our belts over the next two months. I was wondering if you guys can give me ideas for lunch to send to work with dh. I can't really do leftovers because he doesn't have the time or convenience of heating things up. We've been doing pita sandwiches, wraps, and all natural energy bars. I'm open to different types of wraps, we've been doing tuna salad and regular sandwich stuff.

Thanks ladies.

have you thought about packing him a tupperware of pasta salad or potato salad, or a packet of rye crackers or other crispbread type thing, with cheese and pepperoni or italian sausage. Or various veggies with a little pot of dip perhaps. Also pretty much anything is good on tortilla to make a wrap. A little mustard and LO cold beef sliced thin or sandwich meat is good, as is cut up grilled chicken with any type of sauce or dressing and lettuce. Crusty french bread (the stick baguette kind) with cheese and ham makes a really filling lunch. Also cold waffles, cold pancakes are good as a sweet treat. HTH!

Thanks. I have sent hummus(homemade) with cut up veggies. It's a great way to fit in protein.
