Usually I just add a little milk, butter and salt & pepper. But on special occasions I top my mashed potatoes with crumbled bacon, green onion and cheddar cheese, yumm!

It seems like I am always doing something a little different to my mashed taters, but the same items are milk and butter. The different items I use are: sour cream, chives, garlic, shredded cheese and sometimes I leave the skins on the taters.

I just did this last night with my new potatoes, I cooked them in chicken broth (i left the skins on )and drain them. I then added onion, sour cream and a little cream cheese with chives. Boy was that good!

Now tonight I will add egg and flour and make potatoes cake.

Some sour cream, butter, milk and adobo seasoning. Sometimes I'll add chopped garlic in with the potatoes while they cook.

Try adding cauliflower puree to lighten them up.

I use chicken broth instead of milk and butter (tasty + healthy), loads of minced garlic, salt, white pepper and sometimes fresh chives from the garden

I cook my potatoes with chopped onion and garlic. Then after they are drained I add in cream (or sour cream if I have any), butter, salt and pepper.

If I have chives I'll add them in when I'm mashing them, or if I have thyme I add it to the water to cook with the potatoes.
