I recently noticed that I am cooking just about every day. The reasons are to save money and to eat a healthy diet.

Do you cook something in the oven, on the stove, or on the grill every day?

Microwave heat-ups don't count.

I've been cooking at least 5-6 days a week. Mostly using the stove and sometimes will bake stuff. I also use my crock pot more now.

I hardly ever use the microwave to cook.

I try to maximize my time (and energy costs) by trying to tie several meals together...ie bake a ham on Sunday and use leftovers for sandwiches, salad etc. Also, I'll plan that on nights that the oven's on, I'll throw a batch of cookies/bread in at the same time. Usually I end up cooking evey other or third day.

Me personally, I rarely cook. DH does the cooking and he cooks almost every night. At least five nights a week a meal is cooked. Leftovers are eaten for lunches and on nights we are in a rush and he doesn't have time to cook.

Really?!? I figured you to be a "7-day-a-weeker". I just LOVE all of the recipes you come up with... my DH really appreciate you also. LOL

Every day. I hate to spend money and when we do go out to eat all I can think of is how many groceries that dinner could buy.

I cook every day, however 1 night a week is an "easier" night and I usually make sandwiches or reheat leftovers.

I "cook" daily but it's not necessarily dinner. Just depends on what I'm making, what people want to eat etc

Dh and I go out every week to dinner, at least once, sometimes more! We have so many wonderful resturants near us and it's just something we LOVE to do. We go on our own, with another couple or several couples etc
