I'm assuming most of us bake with butter sticks but what do you use for everyday cooking, toast, etc.

I was a Brummel & Brown fan but recently switched to Land-0-Lakes Unsalted butter in the tub. Another attempt to eat simple and basic whole food.

I like Country Crock or Parkay in the tubs. For baking I get the Parkay sticks.

We only use real butter. If we want something spreadable, we take some sticks of butter & blend them with olive oil in the food processor until it's creamy. Then we put it in a tub & pop it in the fridge. Now it's spreadable olive oil butter.

For cooking I use oil, usually olive. Am I really the only one?

We use slightly-salted organic butter, it comes in the foil pack and we put it into an old-fashioned porcelain butter container. It's soo good and the kids like it spread on wheat bread for a simple snack. Sometimes I get the spreadable real butter in a tub too, but usually it's old fashioned butter for us. I rarely use butter when cooking meals only in mashed potato and a few other things, I only use butter for baking.
