My Mom and Dad just broke down and got one of those GT Express cookers and they love it.

(I keep picking on her though...."yup~you're getting old~you're all about the "as seen on TV" items)

I've noticed some cool new colors in kitchen stuff....I'm hot n heavy for the new baby blue can opener, they also have em in lime green and orange(I know....I know...it takes very little to excite me lately)

anyone else get anything or see anything new out they want????

I'm bored today.....can ya tell??? I'm bored,yet chatty...(humor me~please)

I got a new deep fryer for my b'day, that excited me! It's one that has a cover so grease doesn't splatter everywhere.

I got a silver handheld mixer thing, it's got a ton of attachments, can make smoothies, sauces, all sorts with it! Also use it as a whisk for baking and to make babyfood. I love it!

I got a can opener(well, I didn't get it, my dh did). It's the kind that automatically goes around the can and voila no sharp edges. LOL!

And I bought myself a pineapple slicer/corer. That I LOVE. I'm always amazed every time. And fresh pineapple is my indulgence.

Don't know if this counts, but we bought one of those "snow cone/slushie" maker thingy-ma-bobs. It was cheap and we have gotten our money's back based on inflated prices the ice cream truck charges.

I also finally replaced my 20 year old plastic blender. Costco had a coupon, so we got a new one for $23. This one has a glass jar!!! Haven't used it yet though...

For my birthday which was in May I got a mini food chopper and just love it I can chop, dice & puree semi-large batches of items in no time now.

Last thing that I bought was my toaster oven and that was probably about two months ago. I really like it for cooking food up for the kids without turning on the oven and reheating food. I have cooked up everything from frozen corn dogs to baking pilsbury biscuits.

Now for my wish list.
breadmaker
kitchenaid stand mixer
big george formen grill
