I like both......but found out my sister prefers quick breads because they're "faster"she says.

Which do you make?

for me it also depends on what I'm making or giving...I usually make banana bread into mini loaves if giving...and loaves or muffins depending on my mood.
(but generally into mini muffins for dd.....more her size and better for portion control)

The only other thing I tend to make strictly into loaves is pumpkin bread,zucchini bread,and cinnamon bread.

Everything else is usually muffins....I like that "made special just for me"feeling you get from a muffin

Well, I don't have a loaf pan, so I really only make muffins.

I do make more of a banana cake-y thing than bread. I make it in a small casserole dish, because I find it moister than making banana "bread" in muffin tins.

Well, I guess I like loaves more. I agree they are faster, because of not having to fill all those little muffin cups.

I also will bake "cake style" too, a lot of the time, and then just cut it up into squares.

It's funny, I had a friend's mom who used to say "it all looks the same once it's in your stomach." I guess this would be one of those cases.

I like quick breads but I can do both and like to eat both. I don't have any muffin pans I gave them all away in the quest to be simpler but I do make mini loafs and large loafs.
