I love it, but avoid it because I'll drink the whole two quarts at once, and consuming 2 cups of sugar just can't be good for a body. I consider it an addicting type drink for me. I try to limit myself to about 2-3 times a year for it, but I LOVE it!

I drink water or watered down juice normally.

I buy it when it is on sale. We love it. I drank it growing up. I agree that you don't have to use a whole cup of sugar to still enjoy it. My dh would NEVER let us drink Crystal Light. It's bad for you.

We drink it occassionally. But when I make it I use Splenda instead of sugar. Less calories.

Kool Aid is my "back up" drink, for the odd occasion I run out of tea bags. I was brought up drinking Diet Coke in a baby bottle , and now I have been trying HARD not to have it in the house. Plain water to me just doesn't taste right, so I usually drink iced tea. Kool Aid is my back up drink, bc it is cheaper than Diet Coke. I actually make with a few packets of Splenda, nowhere near the recommended amount. I can't stand sweet drinks. My kids aren't big fans of KoolAid. They prefer water. I have done good with them

It was a rare treat when I was growing up. I haven't had it in decades. I've no kids, so we just usually have a crystal lite knockoff if we want something quick to mix up, otherwise we have real lemonade or brewed iced tea, or just water. DH is a big juice drinker but I make him water it down due to the sugar.

I still drink kool-aid! I don't really drink alot of sodas though, I normally drink water or iced tea. You don't have to add the whole cup of sugar, but I do! I rarely give any to my son, but on the days when it is 100+ degrees, I will dilute it with water and let him have some.

DH & I both grew up with kool-aid and he and the kids love it now and there is always some in the fridge. I don't care for it much anymore and rarely drink it. But they drink it everyday.

I grew up on it and refuse to have it in my house! My DS gets milk water or watered down juice... or smoothies

I drank it all the time as a kid. I can't stand it now myself but my kids drink it alot. I was making it with Splenda but it got sooo expensive. Now I just make one small pitcher a day for all 4 of them and when it's gone, it's gone. They have been drinking alot of ice water. I buy the Aldi brand also. 10 or 12 packs for .85, and it lasts about 2 weeks.
