Question How often do you check the dates on your condiments?

How often do you check the dates on your condiments?

Or do you sort through when cleaning out the fridge....I clean mine out weekly and generally sort my condiments about 1 a month...but luckily ours get used pretty quick

when i buy mine i note the date of expiry on the calendar....so if it makes it that long( rarely does) then i toss them then. if its the following year then i make a note in december to add it to the next years calendar.

I am anal about checking dates on everything, everytime I use something. Even if I use something one day, I check the date again the next day.

I check on things when I use them.

It is a good idea to check on things when you are at someone else's house, too. My MIL has things that are YEARS past the due date. She once tried to give my dd jelly that was 3 years past the date.

That kind of anal I can handle...it's the people who scrape the mold off while saying "the inside is still good" that does me in...
