All this talk about tacos is making me want to make them tonight but I really don't want to put the oven on. Has anyone ever tried warming the hard shells in the microwave or toaster oven?

I've done the microwave, it was a bust. I've done the toaster oven, you really have to watch them and don't leave them in as long.

I lay mine on a damp paper towel cover by another damp paper towel and mic about 6 for 10 seconds and check and redo for 10 seconds more, if they are not soft.

Maybe try soft tacos. Mine always turn out fine in the microwave. I haven't turned my oven on for awhile either.

I warm them in the microwave all the time. I do 25 seconds and they are nice and warm but still crisp.
