Can I roast corn on the cob in the oven? I like to occasionally do this thing where I chop up potatoes, onions, and assorted veggies (zucchini, yellow squash, etc) and toss it with a bit of oil and seasonings and then dump it in a roaster and roast them while the meat is cooking.

Today I bought some corn on the cob and was just wondering if I could do that too. So do you think I can toss is with oil and seasonings and roast? Or if I do roast it should I wrap it in foil and roast? Or should I just boil it and forget about it? If I can roast it with the other veggies, do you think it would be done by the time the other veggies are done? Or would it take longer? HELP!!!!!

don't see why you couldn't roast it in the oven.

We roast ours on the gas grill. We soak it in water, husk and all, and place on the grill for 35 minutes at 350.

I would probably just wrap the corn in tinfold, after I butter and salt and pepper it., and then put in the oven.

I have also took corn and rub mayo on it and then rolled it in parmasan (sp) cheese (the kind that you put on pasta) and wrapped it in tinfold and put on the grill. You can do this in the oven, I am sure.

About 30 or 35 minutes at 350!

And thanks for the compliment!
