Never tried non-stick cooking spray, but love them with olive oil. They are so tasty on salads, soups, and just straight out of the bag as a snack.

Homemade croutons are soo much better than the store bought. Those store bought ones are hard enough to break a tooth on! OUCH!!

First, I thaw them out on the counter when I want to use them, lol. Then I cut them up into the chunks I want and mix them with a little melted butter and put them on a baking sheet (sprinkle with garlic and whatever else I feel like at the time) at 350° for about 15 minutes.
Your welcome! You can use olive oil instead of butter and that would make it a little more heart healthier..

I hate croutons so I save mine up for bread pudding. I managed to make a healthy version once that wasn't terrible to eat either- just use the right substitutions in the recipe.
